Refund policy

We want to make public our policy on refunds so that there is no confusion.

All our sales are final and no refunds will be given. As all of our products are digital software, delivered instantly once payment is received it is impossible for you to return a product to use for a refund.

If you find a bug in our software, you can report it in the bug tracker and we will fix it in the next version. Finding a bug is not a reason to request a refund.

We do not issue refunds if:

You just change your mind

You choose not to use our product

You find that our product doesn't suit your needs (We have live demos available for you before purchasing)

However, we understand that it is impossible for us to test our software on every platform and every configuration it may encounter on other servers. Therefore if you are unable to get our software up and running on your server in the first 30 days after purchasing the software then please contact us and we will do everything within our knowledge and experience to get our software to work on your server.

If we fail to achieve this we will happily give you a refund or exchange the product for a new product. You will need to provide us with full access to your FTP, MySQL and Joomla Admin consoles in order for us to debug and install the software, if you cant give us this access then we will not be able to give you a refund.

Refunds are only issued to the same email address & account they were originally purchased with.

Can I pay you in US Dollars?
All our sales are conducted in GBP£ Pounds Sterling.

However you can use the calculator at http://www.xe.com/ucc to get an
idea of what that is in your currency. However you will be charged in
GBP and NOT in your currency, also the figures from XE.com are APPROX
and not exact

Our Payment provider - Paypal - will tell you the exact amount in your local currency BEFORE you commit to purchasing and making the payment.

Do you charge VAT?
With effect from December 2007, we operate through an offshore company based in Jersey, Channel Islands.

The Channel Islands are outside of the EU for VAT purposes and therefore we are not required to be VAT registered or charge VAT.

This means we can keep our prices lower - and pass the savings onto you :-)

I purchased at full price and now you are running a sale

From time to time we run sales of our products.

The timing of these sales are completely random and occasionally on personal events, business events or public holidays. We give no warning of these sales until the time of the sale.

We realize that some people purchase at the normal price just before a sale and then feel saddened that the price has fallen. We would ask these people to note that we a Jersey Registered limited company and we conform to Jersey Law and we run a legitimate Jersey Business. Then we would like them to note that just as any business (A clothes shop for example) the price you see on a price tag is the price you pay at the moment - it may go up or down tomorrow but you are purchasing today.

That nice pair of Jeans you purchased last week might be in the Christmas Sale today for only 50% but that does not give you the right to a second pair of Jeans or even a refund of the difference.

Just because we are a software company does not mean we are any different

We do not offer refunds, exchanges, discounts or additional products just because the price you paid was more when you purchased than today - No shop in the world does that!, Think about it...

Clarification of Lifetime Upgrades
IT DOES MEAN.....
....well it simply means for as long as I am actively devloping a
product, I shall continue to provide customers who have purchased
earlier versions of that exact product with all updates and upgrades
free of charge.

IT DOES NOT MEAN..... .
....That for the rest of my life I will make all my Joomla components
compatible with all future Joomla version no matter what Joomla looks
like and no matter what kind of work is involved! That would be plain
stupid! Those people who thought this is what it meant, I am sorry for
- cause you obviously didnt understand.

As a developer I know components will need to be rewritten to work with
future Joomla versions. Also as my portfolio of new components and new
customers grow I have less and less time to support and update older
components (when features that they build upon within Joomla are even
removed from Joomla core!!).

In every industry, in every business things are withdrawn. Unfortunatly
things move so fast in Joomla-land that the lifecycle is so short.
